Welcome to the 1980s. From the decade of big hair, excess and pastel suits comes a story of one man's rise to the top of the criminal pile as Grand Theft Auto returns. The Mac versions of GTA III, VC, and SA are actually using a Wine-based program as a wrapper and it's outdated and long dead so unless your using something around OS X 10.9.5 it may have problems (that's when I used them without issue anyways).I played GTA III recently using a custom Wineskin wrapper and it worked fine, but I kinda nuked the wrapper after I got done playing the game.sorry; lol. May have a working wrapper but IDK. I may try to do a GTA III wrapper later tonight, but I'm working on one for GTA IV right now and want to finish that first. Sorry for the dual reply, just not sure if you'd get a notification from being tagged in an edit. Try to shut down nicely so Windows program may prompt with warning and save options.Set Screen Options - toggle these on. Use Mac driver instead of X11. Use Direct3D Boost (if available)If you have any issues with the mouse open Wineskin.app in the wrapper, open Winetricks (from the Tools tab), update it using the button on the bottom left, and search for mwo then check mwo=disable and press Run on the middle right. This should make the mouse behave more like normal, but this game is still going to be really hard with a keyboard.
